We are a group of experienced and competent players who want to get the most of our experience and do all of the content that EQ2 has to offer.  We are always looking for skilled team players who want to be a part of something great. As our dynamic changes, so will our recruiting needs.  If you are interested and think you fit the bill, please hit up Svetlana, Korvaz, Assured, or Alaocia.

Last night we got our Bruce Lee on and went into Zarrakon's Lair.  He's big.  He's ugly.  He could use some dental work.  But petty things aside, we wanted him dead.  Our mission:  Zone in, kill dragon, loot chest, zone out.

Ok, so it wasn't quite that simple.  We had to learn a few things first and make a few adjustments (OMG, more visions, yes!)  go go Sony programming.  But hey, at least we didn't have to click any statues.   It was a good time though, because killing dragons always = fun.

We also messed around in Munzok's Material Bastion and killed Yzlak.  I LIKE this encounter.  You know how sometimes we all become irritated with guildmates and wish we could just beat the shit out of them one time?  Well Sony designed this encounter specifically to satisfy that need.  It spawns gimp, punching-bag versions of random people in the raid for your own pleasure.  It's a fun fight and a great stress reliever too.  =)  Dear Sony:  less visions, and more of that please!

Anyway, stay tuned to see what other trouble we can get ourselves into.

Vagynok

After triumphing over Mynzak, we shifted gears and set our next sights on Gynok (or Jynok, for our friends north of the border).  He's a bit of a punk - he lets his mummy friends do most of the fighting for him.  After trying a few different things, we realized we were closer than we thought.  After we got his buddies wrapped up (sorry, couldn't resist), Gynok melted like warm butter.  We were hungry to get our hands on his chest and grab his booty.  Grats Alaocia on some legs and Xephyrous on a hot ring!

Plus, it just sounds good to say Tomb of the Mad Crusader cleared.  It has a nice ring to it.  =)  A great team effort, and a job well done guys.

Mynzak Attack

It's been an anxious last few weeks for us, as we've had to settle for farming the TSO content we've done while we recruit a few good players to bolster our ranks back up again so we can get a good shot on Mynzak.  Well, things are starting to look up and last night we charged into Mynzak's room ready for battle royale.  I would first like to mention that we defeated the Manta Rays of Doom™ in his room because that is an accomplishment in itself that should not go unacknowledged.  After we celebrated that, we settled in on Mynzak and after a few close calls, we pulled out the secret weapon and invoked the power of our true spiritual leader:

Oh yes.  After that, the result:  one dead Mynzak.

Celebrations all around, nice work everyone.  Let's keep it going!

Tythus & Pentaclypse down
Click to send a private message.-Thaddeus-, 3/14/2009 12:53 PM.

We were up for a bit of the old ultra-violence the other night, and so we made our way to Palace of the Ancient One to see what kind of trouble we could stir up.  After spending a little more time with Tythus, we found that he wasn't too bad of a fellow.  He handed us some lame hammer and pointed us the way to Pentaclypse and his gimp brother Ultaclypse.

Ultaclypse didn't really have much to say, but Pentaclypse was kind of an asshole.  He was determined on being a pain in the gulliver so he left us no choice but to strong-arm him.

Congratulations to Komus on some druid hotpants.  It was a good evening for us.  We did say hello to Mynzak while we were there, but at that point we were all feeling a bit shagged and fagged and fashed, it being a night of no small expenditure.

We will be back to chat some more Mynzak, don't you worry your pretty little head.
TSO Goodness

Well, I know lots of people have been waiting patiently for an update on MV, and I should have posted something earlier.  To be honest, we got off to a bit of a slow start (by our standards) after the TSO release because we lost several members which we did not anticipate.  So, we recruited a few quality people to fill in the gaps and then we really started to get things rolling.  One by one, the baddies started to fall down.  Here is a shot of our most recent triumph:

Xebbie left us a present.

"SALT ME FFS!!"

Oh sorry.... had an involuntary reflex there.  Anyway, yeah... Xebnok is a barrel of fun.  One thing that TSO has taught us is that we can throw out a lot of the stuff that we got used to in previous expansions.  Encounters are a lot different now, require different mindsets and approaches, but are still challenging (frustrating) in their own ways.  Another thing we learned is that raiding with 24 people usually tends to yield more favorable results than raiding with say, 21 people.  What a concept!  =)  Thankfully those days are gone, but we are still looking for a brigand!!  *ahem*

In other news....  /trumpets

Korvaz has achieved a level of supreme awesomesauce.

Please join me in congratulating him.  And get him a refill on his coffee while you're at it.  k thx

So here's what our progress looks like so far.  Instead of bombarding you with a bunch more screenshots, I will just show you the list I keep in my pocket and cross off as we go along.  As you can see, we still have a few to go, so stay tuned!

Caesar, you little bastard.

Uhh, actually after looking at it again, there are a couple of things on that list that I don't remember putting on it.  Wait a minute, that doesn't even look like my handwriting....

I'll have to check into this matter further and get back to you.

kkthxbye....zola

Whoa.  Is that.... yes, that would be the remnants of the hardest mob that EQ2 instanced content has to offer.  This fight is something else; it took all we had, and then some.  There is no corner-cutting or lazymode on this guy; we had to bring our best game, as it's about as intense of a fight as we've seen yet.  It was 9 minutes that seemed like 90, as we ran the full gamut of emotions.  But the end result was one dead Byzola.

And so we have met yet another milestone as we wanted to have cleared all instanced content by the expansion.  Well grats guys, with 3 weeks to spare.  So it's official - we win RoK!  Bravo - this was one hell of an effort, and accomplishment.

Our first Byzola loots!  Grats guys  =)
